Invading Phase I

Surely everyone, or at least everyone who plays video games, has heard of Space Invaders (if you haven't, don't worry, Wikipedia knows everything, Wikipedia link). Space Invaders was a very successful game for Namco, and spawned further games such as Galaxians and Galaga. These 2D shooter style games continue to be popular, partly because they are simple to pickup and great fun to play. True to this spirit, we have created our own 2D shooter, Invading Phase I, in Microsofts Silverlight. It's a free game to play. Invading Phase I - Caesars Arcade

A fun version of an old classic style of game

Instructions

  • The menu items can be selected by the arrow keys and space bar or by mouse
  • Use the arrow keys to move left or right
  • Use the space key (or the enter key) to fire
  • Bonuses are sometimes released by the blue ships. Collect bonuses by flying into them
  • Shoot the ships while in flight for extra points
